Editorial policy
Updated 29 October 2026.
This page explains how the Frootrition Guides are researched, written, corrected and kept separate from advertising and from our product business.
Who writes and edits
Guides are written and edited by Frootrition's founder, Sushim Kumar, with research support. Each guide carries a byline linking to the founder profile. We do not invent authors, reviewers or credentials.
What we cover
Five topics only: fruit preparations and concentrates, beverages and café refreshers, ice cream and sorbet, dairy desserts, and bakery fillings and toppings. Content outside these topics is not indexed.
How we research
- Primary sources first: FSSAI regulations and orders, ICMR-NIN's Indian Food Composition Tables and Dietary Guidelines, ICAR institutes, peer-reviewed papers.
- Reputable news and trade reporting for prices, trends and market events, always linked.
- Our own product-development experience with fruit in frozen, dairy, bakery and beverage applications.
What we will not publish
- Claims that a food cures, treats or prevents disease, or causes weight loss.
- Full formulations, ratios or process settings. Guides stay at concept level.
- Thin, repetitive or automatically generated pages. We prefer fewer, deeper guides and merge overlapping ones.
- Personal contact numbers or third-party brand comparisons we cannot source.
Updates and corrections
Every guide shows an updated date. When a fact changes or a reader reports an error, we correct the guide and update the date. Significant corrections are noted in the text. Report errors through the contact page.
Independence from products and advertising
Guides link to our product pages only where relevant, and never sell inside a health topic. Any future advertising will be clearly labelled and will not influence coverage. Sponsored content, if ever published, will be marked as sponsored. See work with us and privacy.

We use our own photos where possible and credit licensed images on the credits page.
